Mission Statement

The Treasure Box Project is dedicated to enriching the lives of less fortunate children in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties by providing educational, fun and practical gifts in beautifully wrapped treasure boxes during the holiday Season.

What we do:

The Treasure Box Project is a grass roots endeavor founded in 1999 when we wrapped 65 boxes. In 2000 we wrapped and delivered 125 boxes, and we have grown in leaps and bounds ever since. We received our 501(c)(3) Public Charity Status in September of 2005, and that year about 60 of our hurricane weary friends wrapped, filled and delivered 2460 boxes.  In 2007, with the help of 120 volunteers of all ages, we set up and wrapped in record time, over 3,513 boxes. (We also recycled all our paper and plastic, and donated all our extra food from the event to the local food bank.) We are an efficient machine, thanks to our hard working board members and friends, who help to raise the funds and support us throughout the year.  2013 we deliverd 5,408 boxes!

A word from the founder...

Imagine the faces of the children when they open the boxes filled with gifts made possible by your generous donations.

These are the children in our community who may go hungry and may not get a birthday or holiday present throughout the year.

We are The Treasure Box Project, and with your support, we will deliver joy and make a difference in many children's lives.
